High quality oak barrels for wine or whisky are handmade using the traditional techniques of the European Coopers over many generations. Wine Barrels are made from American Oak seasoned under natural conditions for at least 2 years, however certain wood remain there for 3-4 years. This exposure to the rain, wind and sun helps to reduce green tannins. Every Oak barrels has standard steel hoops - and is complete with a wooden stand and bung. All our wine barrels are made entirely ecologically without the use of any glues, impregnates or paints. These beautifully crafted barrels are aesthetically appealing which makes them perfect for wine storage as for other drink. Apart from their decorative use, they serve a practical purpose in restaurants, bars and wine production farms!
